The team behind FlowLister, an AI listing tool for eBay sellers. Pricing from sold comps is a large part of what the product does, which means we have spent an unreasonable amount of time on the failure modes of comp data.
Is What's It Sold For independent?
No. We sell software that automates part of this. So the honest framing is: everything here is the manual method, written out in full, and it works whether or not you ever use our product. If the manual method is enough for you, that is a good outcome.
Where does the pricing method come from?
From the errors, mostly. Working on automated pricing means seeing where comp sets go wrong, over and over: mixed generations, bundle sales counted as single items, condition bands collapsed together, accepted offers read as list prices.
